We provide many different types of recommendations. These fall into 4 categories:
- Specific dietary recommendations (foods with different types of fibers, complex sugars, etc)
- Supplements including:
- Strain-specific probiotics
- Prebiotics
- Lifestyle with concrete tips for implementation
- Educational
- Guides for maintaining gut health
- Resources for transitions, like introducing solids
- Dealing with life's ups and downs like antibiotics or GBS+
The types of recommendations above fall into different categories in our Action Plan:
- Based on your results: These are recommendations intended to help with shifting the microbiome community
- Based on what you told us: These are recommendations intended to help alleviate symptoms in a gut-friendly way. However, we don’t anticipate these recommendations to influence the microbiome community in a significant way
- For general microbiome health: These are recommendations for maintaining gut health - such as gut-friendly household cleaners, and resources for ‘when life happens’ - antibiotics, respiratory illnesses, and more.
