How to book a consultation with a Microbiome Specialist

Our microbiome specialists are here to help you better understand your microbiome test results, explain your report, and provide educational, wellness-focused guidance. Depending on the product you purchased, you may have a consultation included or the option to purchase one.

Consultation Options:

Personalized Results Review

A Personalized Results Review is a small group coaching session capped at 4 participants led by a Tiny Health microbiome specialist. This option is available to both Tiny+ members and non-members.

During the session, you'll receive an overview of your microbiome report, learn how to interpret your results, and have the opportunity to ask general questions in a supportive group setting.

1-on-1 Consultation

A 1-on-1 Consultation is a private 20-minute virtual session with a Tiny Health microbiome specialist to discuss your individual microbiome results and receive personalized educational guidance.

Please note: Results Review sessions are for educational and wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice and should not replace care from your healthcare provider. For more detailed information about the scope of our coaches, please click here.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Practitioner Kit Customers

If your test kit was ordered through a healthcare practitioner, consultation scheduling is managed by your practitioner.

Tiny Health Customers

If you purchased your test kit directly from Tiny Health, your consultation options depend on the product you purchased.

Single Test Kits (Baby Gut Health Test, Child Gut Health Test, Adult Gut Health Test, Pregnancy Gut Health Test)

What's included:

• ✅ Access to a Personalized Results Review (group session)
• ❌ A 1-on-1 consultation is not included

Optional add-on:

• Purchase a 20-minute 1-on-1 Consultation with a microbiome specialist for $79 USD.

Tiny+ Memberships

What's included:

• ✅ One (1) 20-minute 1-on-1 consultation credit
• ✅ Access to Personalized Results Review sessions

Need another consultation?

• Additional 20-minute 1-on-1 consultations can be purchased for $39 USD each.

Step 2: Log In to Your Account

Sign in to your Tiny Health account using the email address associated with your purchase:

Step 3: Make Sure You're Ready to Book

Before scheduling your consultation, please ensure that:

• ✅ Your sample has been received by our lab.
• ✅ You have completed all required intake surveys.
• ✅ If your results are not yet available, select a consultation date after the estimated results release date to ensure your results are ready before your consult. You can find the estimated release date in your Tiny Health account.

Step 4: Schedule Your Consultation

1. From the Home tab, open your completed results.
2. Click Schedule a Review.
3. Select your preferred option:
   • Personalized Results Review
   • 1-on-1 Consultation
4. Choose an available date and time. 
5. If you no longer have a consultation credit available, you’ll be prompted to make a payment before confirming your appointment.
